The 2026 VPA Leadership Academy is a time for Vermont’s school leaders to come together—through times of change, challenge, and opportunity—to connect, rejuvenate, and grow. This annual gathering celebrates the strength and dedication of educational leadership across our state. Many districts and supervisory unions attend as full teams, while others join in smaller groups or as individuals. Whether you are returning once again or stepping into leadership for the first time, the 2026 Academy offers an invaluable experience of learning, connection, and shared purpose.

Breakouts on Wednesday & Thursday: All breakouts during the 2026 Academy are workshops. Please note that some are offered on only Wednesday, others only on Thursdays. We will poll registrants for the level of interest in each workshop to select room size for the given workshops, but participants will be able to select their preferred workshops as desired on the day(s) of the event.

New Friday Option: For the first time, the VPA will be offering an optional Friday for $200, which includes breakfast. If you would like to extend your academy, or bring other members to join on Friday, or attend ONLY Friday you can do so. Friday will feature three VPA led workshops.

Location

Killington Grand Resort Hotel

All conference keynotes and breakouts will take place in the Killington Grand Resort Hotel Conference area. Rooms within the Killington Grand Resort fill quickly. There are alternative lodging options through the Killington Mountain facilities.

Pricing

Pay now online using a credit card or select our option to receive an invoice to pay later. If you need to book now and pay in the new fiscal school year (post July 1) that is no problem, simply select "pay by invoice". We do not need purchase orders on our end of things.
